Sarah Stender is a transformative enterprise program leader with over 20 years of experience delivering strategic supply chain and technology initiatives across global organizations. She currently serves as the Group Product Manager for Planning Systems at the Boston Beer Company, where she leads cross-functional teams in advancing supply chain planning, system integration, and digital innovation for iconic brands including Sam Adams, Truly, and Twisted Tea.
Throughout her career, Sarah has driven large-scale transformations at industry leaders such as Nestlé and L’Oréal, managing global ERP migrations, enabling data-driven decision-making, and implementing AI-driven planning tools. Her expertise spans demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, transportation technology, and the integration of platforms such as SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, and MuleSoft.
An advocate for continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration, Sarah brings a practical yet visionary approach to solving today’s most complex supply chain challenges. She holds an MBA from Penn State and a BS in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University, and is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner.

Greg Toornman is a prominent figure in supply chain management and is viewed as a “Thought Leader” in the industry, recently retired as the Global Vice-President of Materials, Logistics, and Demand Planning at AGCO Corporation. His extensive career at AGCO, which began in 2004, was marked by transformative initiatives that enhanced the company’s global supply chain operations, earning multiple prestigious awards across the globe for innovation.
Impact during COVID-19: Greg implemented and led proactive supply chain strategies during the pandemic, enabling AGCO to continue its operations longer than competitors and achieving the highest market share levels achieved on a global basis in company history. Some of the actions included initiating and leading a globally aligned cross functional crisis task force and utilizing digital technologies to support proactive and decisive decision-making that delivered a competitive advantage in the global marketplace.
Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Transformation: He led the overhaul of AGCO's cross functional S&OP processes, leading change across the organization and with thousands of dealerships and suppliers, which improved operational efficiencies and performance levels.
Logistics Network Optimization: Greg redesigned AGCO's Logistics network into a globally digitized integrated system, achieving substantial cost reductions, and improved environmental performance while winning numerous innovation awards across the globe.
Purchasing Optimization Initiatives: He centralized procurement across various regions and business units, resulting in significant cost savings and improved supplier relationships, alongside enhancing supplier risk management capabilities.
Global Experience and Influence: His international assignments in Brazil, China, Switzerland, and the United States enriched his understanding of diverse supply chain dynamics, allowing him to implement best practices that fostered AGCO's business transformation and operational excellence.
Dr. Bob Myers is a Senior Lecturer specializing in Operations Management at the Scheller College of Business at Georgia Tech. He is also the faculty director for Lean Six Sigma Programs and faculty director for the Executive MBA Program. With over two decades of experience in academia, Bob enriches his classroom instruction with a wealth of practical insights garnered from his diverse background in industry. His professional journey has seen him assume diverse roles such as Director of IT, Project Manager, QA Manager, and Engineer, providing him with a comprehensive perspective on real-world challenges.
